Andres Succar Cuellar, a LL.M. in International Human Rights Law student, recently contributed to a publication from the International Labour Organization (ILO). “The right to social security in the constitutions of the world: Broadening the moral and legal space for social justice” analyzes social security rights in a number of constitutions. This most recent edition focuses on social security rights in Latin America and features authors from 18 different national legal systems.

ILO hosted a webinar for the launch of the publication on October 5. Participants included the ILO’s Social Protection Legal and Standards Officer, the Secretary General of the Ibero-American Social Security Organization, and the United Nations’ Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (ECOSOC).
